“Crate&Barrel” store

In September 2014, the first interior boutique Crate and Barrel was opened at the Aphimol City Moscow shopping center. Architects were expected to develop a design of decoration of this iconic store popular globally thanks to its exclusive collections and state-of-the-art solutions for interiors. Working with the space, the project authors primarily focused on layout of a store - thanks to lining up zones on the labyrinth principle, a visitor will be able to examine all assortment and will never miss any detail. On the other hand, in development process the specificities of each section were taken into account in order to create an atmosphere, which is almost like home.

To create an atmosphere of comfort, the ceilings were intentionally low-hanged, finishes and materials directly associated with the flat or country house atmosphere were used. As a result, architects managed not only to keep philosophy of the well-known company, but also to adapt a complex configuration of the space located in noisy shopping center to the presentation of very different home decoration items.
