“Simferopol” International Airport

The interiors of the new terminal of Simferopol airport complex reflects the main thematic associations related with the peninsula. The curved shape of the roof and facades, reminding of the Black Sea waves, gives the expressive volume and dynamic image to the building. The same theme in the interior has been emphasized by the ceiling in the form of floating strips of a metal mesh. The green plants and waterfalls, reminding of the wonderful natural landscapes of the Crimea, immerse passengers in a so-called "vacation mode" and bring them back.

On the second floor of the terminal, there is a VIP Lounge, the interior of which is made of natural materials of adjacent colors highlighting the comfort-designed luxury and brevity. The tinted reflective ceiling creates the effect of a multi-level space, casting a beautiful reflection onto the floor. The silence is provided in soft acoustic niches with sofas upholstered with iridescent velvet.

On the 4th floor of the terminal, there is a Business Class lounge. Its interior is organized by simple forms, which, in combination with precious materials, give the effect of volumetric and comfortable space. The high ceiling with open communications gives a feeling of space and air that unites the Business Lounge with an outdoor terrace, located nearby. The interior is filled with glass cubes dispersed around the space with the composition of the trees and live plants, creating some islands of landscape design.
